Umag, 2 June 2026 – This summer, Umag once again becomes a place where world class tennis, unforgettable concerts and vibrant summer parties come together. While thrilling sporting battles unfold on the tennis courts, the evenings as part of Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag are reserved for premium entertainment by the sea.
Umag Music Nights once again brings a lineup of regional music stars and internationally renowned DJ names who will transform the Dance Arena into the heart of summer entertainment over eight nights. From rock classics and major domestic hits to electronic showcases and the global club scene, the audience can expect a programme that blends festival energy, a Mediterranean atmosphere and a unique summer experience, while resident DJ Antonio will further elevate the atmosphere each night.
Following the tennis matches, visitors can enjoy more than 100 hours of music programming that, year after year, attracts tens of thousands of visitors from Croatia and abroad, further confirming Umag as one of the most attractive summer destinations for a combination of sport, entertainment and top tier music.
The zone opens on Friday, 10 July, when visitors will be welcomed by a warm up night with the resident DJ, marking the beginning of the multi day music spectacle. The very next evening, on Saturday 11 July, the programme is taken over by the legendary Parni Valjak, a band whose hits have filled concert venues for decades and connected generations. The following day, 12 July, the atmosphere will be lifted by the ever energetic Mambo Kings, known for their lively performances and strong interaction with the audience. Monday, 13 July, is reserved for the spectacular Superstar Show Italia, bringing the biggest global hits, while on Tuesday 14 July the regional trap sensation Senidah takes the stage, one of the most popular artists of the new generation whose shows are regularly sold out across the region.
Strong audience interest is expected on 15 July when Shaquille O’Neal, also known by his DJ name DJ Diesel, arrives in Umag. One of the greatest basketball players of all time will deliver a spectacular show and an energetic party rarely seen in this part of the world. He will be joined on stage by his son, DJ and producer Myles O’Neal, who is increasingly recognised on the international scene thanks to his modern blend of house and hip hop sound and energetic sets that elevate the crowd to festival level.
A rock night follows on 16 July with Prljavo Kazaliste, whose timeless hits guarantee an excellent atmosphere and collective sing along moments. Electronic music fans will have their moment on 17 July when Fedde Le Grand, one of the world’s most recognised DJs and creator of global club hits, arrives at the Dance Arena. The grand finale of Umag Music Nights is scheduled for Saturday 18 July, when the programme will close with award winning artist, producer and DJ Dombresky, who with his distinctive and dynamic approach to house music has already set major festivals such as Coachella and EDC alight, bringing a memorable closing night to Umag.
The sea, the open air stage and major music names once again transform this Istrian town into one of the most exciting summer destinations, with the atmosphere for which Umag Music Nights has been recognised for years.
