TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER FOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT STAFF – PLAVA LAGUNA CROATIA OPEN UMAG 2026

Join the organization of the ATP tennis tournament Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, which will take place from 10 to 18 July 2026 in Umag!

Participating in the organization of the ATP tournament in Umag provides a unique personal and professional experience, an opportunity to test your own knowledge, but also an interesting addition to your CV and a topic for future job interviews.

The tender for this year’s tournament staff is open until Monday, 10 June 2026. Applications are submitted through the online form on the official tournament website. After completing the form, all additional information will be sent to your contact e-mail address, while the results of the tender will be announced on 18 June 2026. We invite you to complete the online form and join this year’s team of the most famous tennis tournament in Croatia!

About the tender

In addition to the smaller team that works on the organization of the tournament throughout the year, around 400 people participate in the tournament every year, divided into several organizational units. Part of the staff is selected according to tennis-specific professional criteria (line judges, ball kids...), while the tender is open for a number of tournament services.

Tournament Services

When applying, applicants may indicate their preferred tournament service. The following services are available:

  • Warehouse – Receiving and distributing goods, preparing materials, assisting other services. Ideal for responsible, physically active and organized individuals with less direct contact with guests.
  • Crowd Care – Ticket scanning at entrances, controlling access to restaurants and additional facilities, coordinating seating in VIP boxes. Ideal for communicative, resourceful and friendly individuals.
  • Info Point / Hotels – Providing information to visitors, working at info points in the resort and hotels, assisting guests with orientation and guidance. Ideal for open and communicative individuals.
  • Welcome Office – Issuing accreditations, administrative support, communication with guests and participants. Ideal for organized, precise and responsible individuals.
  • Tennis Services – Player’s desk (working with players and their teams), Player’s lounge (access control), court support and player assistance. Ideal for professional individuals with good foreign language skills.
  • Protocol – Welcoming VIP guests, checking accreditations, taking care of guests in VIP areas. Ideal for professional, communicative and confident individuals.
  • PR / Media – Working in the press center, assisting journalists, participating in social media activities. Selection is conducted through an additional process. Ideal for creative, communicative and digitally literate individuals.

General characteristics of tournament staff:

  • Tournament staff candidates (from 18 to 28 years old) should contribute to the reputation of the tournament through their appearance and behaviour
  • Excellent knowledge of foreign languages
  • Computer literacy is appreciated (MS Office, Social Media platforms)
  • Participation in sports (recreational or professional) is desirable, while a passion for tennis and experience in organizing sports or other events is considered an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, responsibility and punctuality are expected

We offer candidates applying for tournament services in 2026:

  • Minimum compensation of 400 Euros for tournament engagement
