ATP Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag has opened applications for tournament staff for this year’s edition of the tournament, taking place from 10 to 18 July in Umag. The call invites young people aged between 18 and 28 to join the team behind Croatia’s largest and most renowned tennis tournament, which each year brings together hundreds of staff members and collaborators across different organisational services.

Taking part in the organisation of the Umag ATP tournament offers a unique experience of working in an international sports environment, an opportunity to develop communication and organisational skills, as well as a valuable reference for future professional development. During tournament week, around 400 people are engaged across multiple sectors, ranging from spectator and guest services to logistics, media and tennis operations.

Candidates may apply for several different tournament services, including warehouse operations, spectator services, info points and hotels, welcome office, tennis services, protocol, and the PR / Media sector. Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills, responsibility, a professional approach and good knowledge of foreign languages, while experience in sports, the event industry or digital platforms will be considered an additional advantage. Selected candidates will receive compensation, meals during working hours, official uniforms and shift-based work schedules, together with the opportunity to become part of one of the biggest sporting and summer events in Croatia.
