On Sunday, June 21, the second UTR PTT tournament of the season in Umag got underway at the Stella Maris Tennis Center. Following a highly successful March edition, which marked the first appearance of women’s players in Umag, a field of 20 players will compete for the title through Saturday, June 27.
The draw is headlined by local favorite Deni Žmak, the March champion, alongside fellow Croatian Dominik Šimunović.
This event continues the “Month of Tennis” in Umag, a series of tournaments across different levels, including ITF events. The highlight of the schedule is the Plava Laguna Croatia Open, which will be held for the 36th time this year, taking place from July 10 to 18. With a packed calendar of events, Umag and the Stella Maris Tennis Center once again reinforce their status as one of the region’s most active tennis hubs.
