Czech team Petr Nouza and Patrik Rikl clinched their second title as a team on Saturday at the Generali Open in Kitzbuehel, where they overcame Austrians Neil Oberleitner and Joel Schwaerzler 1-6, 7-6(3), 10-5.

Nouza and Rikl won 78 per cent of their first-serve points at the clay-court ATP 250, according to Infosys ATP Stats, and pulled clear from 4/4 in the Match Tie-break to triumph after 84 minutes.

"It is amazing," Nouza said. "It has been a very tough week for us. A long week, but we made it work. All the way from the first round, there have been hard matches. Today especially. We didn't start very well and the opponents were playing great but we turned it around at the end. We stick together and help each other."

Nouza and Rikl, who both won their first tour-level title in Marrakech in April, defeated fourth seeds Ariel Behar and Joran Vliegen and second seeds Francisco Cabral and Lucas Miedler en route to the title in Austria.

It All Adds Up

Arneodo/Guinard rule in Umag
Fourth seeds Romain Arneodo and Manuel Guinard tasted success for the second time together on the ATP Tour at the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, where they defeated Patrik Trhac and Marcus Willis 7-5, 7-6(2) in the final.

The Monegasque-French pair survived a major scare in the first round, saving three match points against Matej Dodig and Nino Serdarusic. But from there, Arneodo and Guinard did not put a foot wrong, edging a tight final against Trhac and Willis after one hour and 33 minutes.

Arneodo and Guinard are up two spots to No. 12 in the PIF ATP Doubles Team Rankings. Earlier this year, they captured the crown at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Monte-Carlo.
