CROATIAN TOUR: Mili Poljicak caps a dream week with the title in Split

Mili Poljičak won his first Challenger title in Split, achieving the biggest success of his career in front of a home crowd. The singles title was accompanied by a doubles trophy, completing an outstanding week.

Mili Poljičak, a Split native, achieved the biggest success of his career by winning the ATP Challenger tournament in Split, claiming his first title at this level in front of a home crowd.

In the final, he delivered a convincing performance against Tom Gentzsch, winning 6–4, 6–4 to cap an excellent week of tennis.

The achievement carries added significance as it came in his hometown, where Poljičak became the first Croatian winner in the tournament’s history.

Poljičak also claimed the doubles title in Split, partnering Slovakia’s Miloš Karol to defeat Mirza Bašić / Andrej Nedić 6–2, 6–2.

With this, Poljičak completed a perfect week in Split, underlining his potential and making a significant step forward at Challenger level.
