As every year, Umag hosted a press tennis tournament featuring 12 reporters and photo reporters. The trophy went to Dražen Prćić of Hrvatska riječ, as he defeated Kruno Kuljak of the Croatian Television 6:2 7:5 in the finals.
Prćić received the trophy from tournament director Lawrence Frankopan, and a gift set from PIK's chief barbecue master Marko Lučić. At the same time, all the competitors were also given gifts from PIK Vrbovec and Pixsell. The ceremony was also an occasion to recognize Mićo Dušanović.
Croatian Radio and Television's reporter retired this year, which is why the organizers wanted to thank him for "everything that he had done for tennis and this tournament" in the years that he had been following tennis events, including the tournament in Umag. Tournament director Frankopan presented him with some gifts and congratulated him on an "outstanding career in journalism", while head of the press Loretta Krota thanked him on behalf of all the colleagues.
