Last night, as part of the rich program of the 27th Konzum Croatia Open Umag, a gala evening was held at the Melia Coral Hotel, attracting over 400 guests.
The evening was opened by Istraturist director and chairman of the tournament's Organizing Committee Ronald Korotaj. In his welcome speech he thanked all the sponsors and partners, without whom there would be no tournament. The evening's musical treat was a performance by Marko Tolja and Latefour Quartet. The best part of the performance was when, using an inventive video, they brought the legendary Frank Sinatra to the stage to sing together the famous hit Fly Me to the Moon.
The gala evening, which was permeated by the spirit of the 1950s, featured fine dining prepared by the chef of the Melia Coral Hotel and wines specially selected for this occasion. The entertainment and the great atmosphere lasted until late into the night, bringing back the glow of the elegant fifties.
