Umag's Vegeta Croatia Open is taking place this year from July 18 to 28. Alongside the outstanding sport event, visitors to the tournament can also expect an engaging entertainment programme. The opening concert on Saturday, July 20, is reserved for one of the most famous Croatian pop singers Tony Cetinski, while the international pop star Gabrielle, to whom this will be the first concert appearance in Croatia, will hold a big concert on Saturday, July 27, on the eve of the finals. The entrance to these concerts, similar to all other events organized as part of ATP Party Nights, is free to all visitors.

Tony is always a welcome guest in Umag: in 2010 he opened the tournament alongside the stars of the showCroatian Idol, while a year later he performed alongside the world famous opera singer Montserrat Caballé in a more serious arrangement. Both concerts are remembered as outstanding musical spectacles.

"It is nice to be part of the game in Umag again. We have one more been given the honour to open the tournament and I promise I will deliver an evening to remember and outstanding entertainment with plenty of new and old hit singles. Of course, I am also preparing several surprises for Umag's audience, which I will not reveal until the concert itself. So be sure to come to Umag on July 20 and have fun with us", said Tony.

Alongside Tony Cetinski's concert, a big surprise for Umag's audience is also the performance from the British star and winner of the prestigious Brit Award Gabrielle, known for her hit singles Dreams, Give Me a Little More Time, Out of Reachand many others. Gabrielle has been performing for over 20 years and her albums have sold in millions of copies. This will be her first concert performance in Croatia.

Over 100 hours of entertainment programme will include performances from many other excellent domestic and foreign artists, with numerous novelties. In addition,ATP Unplugged Evenings, a sort of extension of ATP Party Nights, will be held for the first time this year. ATP Unplugged Evenings will feature Elemental, Urban, Franka Batelic, Kultura and Back in front performing acoustic versions of their songs in a more intimate atmosphere.

In between concert performances, famous DJs will make sure that the atmosphere remains electric. Many will be interested in the performance of world famous DJ Thomas Gold, loved by many electronic music fans, on Friday, July 26. Like last year, Ante Gelo Band will be playing world-class jazz every day as part of Istria Gourmet Festival.

One novelty that is sure to delight all those who will be staying at Umag this summer and enjoying the tournament is the fact that the organizer has allowed visitors and residents of Umag free entrance to all events.
