We will see the very best of Croatian tennis in Umag this year - all three of our best players will compete at the 22nd ATP Studena Croatia Open. This way, in the last week of July, the Croatian audience at the ATP stadium will be able to cheer for Marin Čilić, Ivan Ljubičić and Ivan Dodig, among other top players.

Now ranked 19th, Marin Čilić made his debut in the ATP Tour in Umag six years ago, at the age of 17. Because of that, Croatia Open has a special place in his heart, as well as in his calendar. "It's always the biggest challenge and motive to play on home court. Especially in Umag, which has deservedly gained the status of one of the most attractive clay-court tournaments. I'm looking forward to playing in front of the Umag crowd and I'm confident in a good result," Marin points out.

Ivan Ljubičićwill make his 12th appearance in Umag. At the recent ATP Masters Tournament in Monte Carlo he showed there is still power in his strokes. "This will be my 12th appearance in Umag. I feel great, I've had a good season so far, there is no reason not to continue at this level of form, perhaps even pick it up by late July. It would be great to win the tournament in front of home crowd,'' Ljubičić says. Currently 45th player in the rankings,

Ivan Dodig is a big newcomer. The winner of Zagreb Indoors has recently beaten the No. 5 in the world, Robin Söderling of Sweden. Last year in Umag he lost to Ljubičić after a great match, but this year Dodig believes he could get far. "Everything is possible in front of home crowd. I feel great in Umag every year, the same as all the other players, because this is a tournament with a unique atmosphere," Dodig said. Tournament director
