Some of the top musicians in the region will thus be in charge of creating memorable moments during the first part of the tournament: Umag is expected to welcome Parni valjak, Hladno pivo and Željko Joksimović.
The legendary Parni valjak, one of the most long-lived and successful bands in Croatia, will perform on Saturday, July 15, the day of Croatia Open Umag kickoff. The band boasts a tradition of over 40 years and is very popular among both younger and older generations of music lovers. Hit songs such as Ljubavna, Sve još miriše na nju, U ljubav vjerujem and Dođi will thrill and delight all the concertgoers, taking us all back to the good old days.
"The audience will be able to hear a lot of our old songs but also a few of the new ones. Those are the songs that we have been working on for the past year or two, songs that have been well accepted by our fans, and we are very pleased with that. So, some quality production, more than two hours of old and new songs, and that's it! We are looking forward to being in Umag!" Husein Hasanefendić Hus of Parni valjak told the fans in Umag.
On Monday, July 17, the stage will be taken over by the guys from Hladno pivo, who intend to throw the fans into delirium with their timeless punk rock hits. Umag's heated atmosphere - enjoyed by over 100,000 visitors each year during the ten-day event, which puts Umag up there with the most popular summer party destinations on the coast - will be heated up some more on July 18 with the performance by Željko Joksimović. One of the greatest and most famous regional music star of today, Joksimović will be performing on stage in Umag for the second time.
Party Nights is a unique music program which takes place as a part of Croatia Open Umag. It lasts for ten days, providing more than 100 hours of music as well as entertainment for as many as 100,000 visitors. It is also unique for its diversity as the program has been designed and is intended for the most eclectic tastes in music.
