Goran Ivanišević visited Poreč and spent some time with the tennis fans there. There were many Croatian, but also foreign, guests among the fans who were there to chat to the Wimbledon champion and Croatia’s top tennis player. The host of Goran’s visit as well as the main sponsor of the ATP tournament in Umag, Plava Laguna, prepared a surprise for Goran – photos from the early days of his career, back in the 1980s, when he had won the Istrian Riviera. Delighted with Poreč’s gift, Goran invited everyone there to come and enjoy the top-quality tennis and entertainment this evening at the ATP tournament. Today, we have singles semifinal matches and the doubles final. They start at 5PM.
