The coming weekend will bring the best of the tournament: both singles and doubles semifinals and finals.

Cancel any appointment you might have on Saturday at 5:30 and 8 PM and reserve that time for the singles semi-final. After second semi-final match sit down and watch the doubles final. On Sunday, starting at 8 PM, the central court of the Goran Ivanišević Stadium will host the tournament’s pivotal event – singles final.

Regardless of which stand on the central court you have tickets for, with a bit of luck, Croatia’s food company Podravka will get you even better seats. The lucky spectators whose faces appear on the big screen will continue to watch the match from the best seats in the house – the south box.

In between matches, our visitors can enjoy the rich offer of the Gourmet Zone, which houses the well-known Istrian restaurants Naša Kužina and Zigante, and hosts Taste Istria program, wine tastings and Badel’s liquor tastings. On Friday, the Dance Arena will be dancing to the rhythms of the Dutch DJ R3hab, while on Saturday, the stage will be taken over by his French colleague The Avener. The tournament will close on Sunday with Extravaganza, the final dance event.

Furthermore, each day, the visitors can stay at the Social Arena, where a number of companies, including HT, Peugeot, Triglav, Franck, HEP and American Express have their separate zones. HT’s corner allows you to try out the latest video games and VR, while Franck offers its many refreshing beverages.

Visit the Peugeot Zone and play some tennis on Nintendo Wii or sit behind the wheel of the latest Peugeot SUVs 5008 and 3008. Thanks to Triglav, the visitors can play either mini table tennis or tennis on water, and after a day filled with tennis you can relax in the most comfortable zones of all, that of the PBZ American Express, where you can play Memory and perhaps even win a trip to New York and two tickets to the US Open.

Finally, you can capture your visit to the ATP tournament at HEP’s photo booth. This year, the tournament’s sponsor HEP once again organized the As za spas fundraiser, donating a certain amount of money to a local charity or project for every ace hit during the tournament.

Right next to the Social Arena is the Fit Laguna, an outdoor gym. There, thanks to the Buje Kickboxing Club and Zagreb-based Basic Gym One, you can work out with a personal trainer and try some of the sports drinks courtesy of Powerade. Next to the gym is the Babolat store, where you can buy all the necessary, top-quality sports equipment. Finally, if you’ve ever wanted to play golf, now is the right time to do it as just a few steps away, by the sea, is the Golf Point golf course, offering you a true golfing experience.

The official media partner of Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag is Radio Istra, whose reporters diligently broadcast news from the tournament. If you need the daily schedule of the events at the tournament, you can always hear it on their airwaves.
