In the first match, Bedene played against some boys from Germany, while in the second match, he was joined by the young tennis player from Germany Jessica and the Lorković brothers. Aljaž then had to return to his training but could not leave without first taking a few selfies with the little ones. Also, seeing as his birthday is tomorrow, the children wished him a happy birthday.
Afterwards, the children participated in a target shooting competition, led by Stribor, and Babolat presented them with some quite valuable prizes. The first prize went to eight-year-old Karolinka from the Czech Republic.
Kids’ Week, which takes place daily as part of the 30th edition of the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, is open to all children interested in tennis.
This morning, Slovenia’s Aljaž Bedene gladly came to a get-together with young tennis players as part of the ongoing Kids’ Week. This was the third day in a row when these children were given an opportunity to learn while engaging in various games. Several dozen boys and girls readily welcomed their idol to the court and surprised him greatly.
