Wimbledon champions who had all peaked in three different decades – Pat Cash in the eighties, Richard Krajicek in the nineties and Goran Ivanišević in the noughties – made last night’s homage to Wimbledon all the more special and gave the spectators a night to remember.
Redfoo, music star and huge tennis fan was also there as well as Kaja Juvan, young Slovenian who won the girls' doubles title at the All England Club.
Suffice to say, these international names were a true magnet for the spectators who enjoyed the legends’ tricks and tennis miniatures, as well as their silly moves and ideas, with Goran Ivanišević, naturally, being the worst of the bunch, so to speak.
Exhibition participants followed suit, doing all sorts of crazy things in an equally relaxed and funny manner, thus contributing to an evening of laughter and great atmosphere. Some of the luckier spectators managed to catch the T-shirts that Goran and the crew had launched into the audience by hand, sling and cannon, and got to keep them as mementos.
