Amazing musical performances at Umag's Dance Arena continued on Monday, when the Croatian band Vatra fired up the audience.
"We haven't been to Umag in a while but our concerts in Istria have always been great, as evident from the concert we just gave," frontman Ivan Dečak said.
The concert was an overview of the band's career, as they played not only songs that they had recorded before their biggest hit Tango but also songs that came afterwards. Everyone danced and sang, and even those who didn't understand the words enjoyed themselves as music goes beyond understanding lyrics.
Or, as Dečak would put it:
"Regardless of the audience, we always play our own songs. And even if they don't know the lyrics, they can always feel the energy our music carries, and that's the only thing that matters."
Vatra's energy was definitely felt by everyone last night…
