Of particular interest will be the meeting of former top 10 player Lucas Pouille, and Carlos Alcaraz, a young rising star. Former winner Marco Cecchinato will play with Slovenian star Aljež Bedene, while Croatian tennis player Nino Serdarušić will play with Carlos Taberner, the 114th player in the world. In the doubles tournament, it is worth mentioning the Croatian tennis players, brothers Matej and Ivan Sabanov, who will meet Lucas Martinez from Venezuela and Artem Sitak from New Zealand.

The tournament starts on Sunday, July 18, with the qualifications in which Matija Pecotić, the winner of the Road to Umag Masters, will also play. In today's final, Matija was better than Božo Barun and thus won the Wild card for the ATP tournament qualifiers.

Qualifications for the main tournament will be played tomorrow (Sunday) at 16.00 at the Goran Ivanišević Stadium at Stella Maris.

Road to Umag series of three tournaments was launched to give Croatian tennis players opportunity to play as many matches as possible on the home field, and the winner of each tournament qualified for the Road to Umag Masters, thus approaching the only Croatian ATP tournament.  Frane Ninčević, the winner of the tournament in Karlovac, Alen Rogić-Hadžalić, who won in Požega, and Božo Barun, who was the best in Split, played at the Masters. They were be joined by Admir Kalender, Matija Pecotić and Domagoj Bilješko who received invitations.

As part of the tournament, on Saturday morning, the now traditional fourth Hepi Tennis Couples Tournament was held, in which customers of HEP Opskrbe and their partners played on the courts of the Umag Tennis Academy
