At a recent get-together with the press, the organizers of the ATP tournament in Umag presented Party Nights, a ten-day musical event featuring over a hundred hours of music. Alongside performances by a number of artists, the visitors are guaranteed to enjoy long, hot, entertaining nights of music for different musical tastes. This was confirmed by Remi from Elemental, Ivan Dečak from Vatra and Marko Tolja in their conversation with Ronald Korotaj, Istraturist CEO and chairman of the tournament's Organizing Committee. Afterwards, they performed some of their greatest hits before a packed terrace of Zagreb's Johanna Franck Café.

For 27 years now the tournament in Umag has been successfully connecting sports and music, and this year that connection will be enriched with two exhibition matches: first, Goran Ivanišević and Andre Agassi will remind everyone of their legendary Wimbledon finale, and then Donna Vekić and Flavia Penetta will help the ladies' tennis make a grand entrance as well. Along side the many tennis stars, the tournament will also attract a number of big names on the Croatian and international music scene.

"We are proud of this year's ATP tournament. Such a lineup of international tennis and music stars, particularly Andre Agassi and Martin Solveig, will contribute to the promotion of the Croatian tourism," Ronald Korotaj said.

Alongside featuring the most famous tennis players, the tournament will provide some great entertainment with the Party Nights events, staring some of the most popular regional musicians. For instance, on Saturday, July 16, the tournament will kick off with performances by regional stars Jelena Rozga and Halid Bešlić. A performance by Slovenia's Mambo Kings is scheduled for the day after, while concerts by Vatra and Elemental will definitely draw crowds in the first half of the week.

Fans of electronic music will find themselves in familiar territory in the second half of the week. The tournament's ladies' day, which is scheduled for Wednesday, July 20, is reserved for the world famous Australian DJ duo Nervo, whose members Miriam and Olivia are known not only for their great parties but also their love of tennis. On Thursday, July 21, the atmosphere will be made electric by the Club MTV Europe Summer Blast and DJ Borgeus, while Friday, July 22, is reserved for the Dutch DJ Tony Junior. The tournament will close with a performance by the world famous DJ Martin Solveig, author of the huge hit Hello, for which the video was filmed at Roland Garros. Solveig will arrive to Umag after last year's performance by Bob Sinclar, who appears in that video alongside Novak Đoković.
