The 26th tournament will be opened with an exhibition match between the Spaniard Carlos Moya, also known as the King of Umag, and the 1999 tournament winner, the Swede Magnus Norman. The match will take place on Wednesday, July 22. Moreover, the spectators will also be entertained by one of the world's most famous DJs Bob Sinclair, who will show off his tennis skills and perform right after the exhibiton match.

Carlos Moya is the former number one and winner of Roland Garros. Seven years after his final competitive match Moya will return in a somewhat different role to the tournament he had competed in for fifteen years in a row, in time becoming the tournament's most successful tennis player and fans' favorite. Magnus Norman is a former Roland Garros' finalist, ranked number two in the world in 2000. In 2014, as Stanislas Wawrinka's coach, Norman helped him shock the tennis world and win the Australian Open.
