Organizers of ATP Vegeta Croatia Open Umag tournament have decided for the first time, in partnership with the Assembly of photographers of Croatia, to reward the best photographers who will follow the sports and supporting events in Umag during the 11 days. Authors of the three best photographs in categories "Tennis" and "Supporting tournament events" will be rewarded. The photographs have to be sent by July 25, 2012 at the latest, and will be judged by a jury of experts. The judging will take place in August, while the valuable awards will be handed out in September, 2012. All photographers who have been accredited for the 23. ATP Vegeta Croatia Open, as well as the official tournament photographers are allowed to take part in the photo contest. Sent photos have to satisfy all contest conditions which have been posted on official tournament web pages.

For 23 years in a row Umag's tournament has been a spot for excellent tennis, good fun, rich musical and entertainment program. Many of these moments become permanent memories recorded by the professional eye of the photographers. Some of the most beautiful post cards of Umag came into existence on the tennis court.
