“Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag is one of the best-attended events in Croatia and the region, and the music program is its integral part. This year, we will host some of the most popular music performers in the region as well as world-famous DJs. We always try to come up with a program that will cater for all tastes in music. That is why I would like to invite everyone to come to Umag and not miss this season’s best summer party on the Adriatic Sea,” Ronald Korotaj, chairman of the tournament’s Organizing Committee, said.

Korotaj added that even with the entertainment portion of the program, the tournament could always count on the support of its partners such as Triglav Osiguranje. Accordingly, Marin Matijaca, President of the Management Board of Triglav Osiguranje, then addressed the crowd: “We are extremely pleased to be a part of the great ATP story this year as well. After our successful cooperation last year, we are in for yet another unforgettable tournament edition. Once again, we intend to provide the visitors with some pretty unique experiences by offering them various daily activities and a myriad of surprises.

For the 29th consecutive year, ATP Umag has been successfully combining sports and entertainment, and this year’s entertainment program will kick off on July 14 with a spectacular concert by Petar Grašo, who plans to sing some of his biggest hits.

I look forward to my concert in Umag. I performed there 20 years ago, and I remember it was fantastic. I’ve already had loads of my fans ask me about it and I’m sure it will be well attended. We are working on a performance that will feature some of my biggest hits that have marked some of the major moments in the lives of not only my fans but also in my life over the past 20 years. It will be a greatest hits night“, Petar Grašo explained.

On July 15, the dancefloor at the Dance Arena will be lit up by the well-known Slovenian band Mambo Kings, while the legendary Croatian band Prljavo Kazalište will get up on that stage the day after. Finally, on July 17, both Jelena Rozga and Željko Samardžić will entertain the crowd until late into the night.

Two years ago, I gave a concert at the tournament and I only have fond memories of that night. That is why I am looking forward to this year’s concert even more than before. I’m sure it will be fantastic, and we will all have such great fun. I will definitely do my best to make it so and I hope to stay at the tournament even after my concert this time around,” Jelena Rozga added.

Apart from securing the most popular regional stars, the tournament has also prepared an enviable music repertoire for the EDM fans, as they will be able to enjoy performances by some of the best DJs in the world.

Australia’s popular DJ Timmy Trumpet will be the first to take to the stage on July 18, and his fantastic mix will certainly wow the visitors, while one day later, the stage will be reserved for DJ Quintin. On Friday, July 20, we will enjoy the performance of Michael Feiner, a Swedish DJ and member of the famous Swedish House Mafia. On Saturday, July 21, the stage will be taken over by Italy’s Rudeejay and well-known Swiss DJ Mike Candys, while on July 22, the last night of the tournament, the stage will be graced by the Istrian musician Goran Griff, whose Zucchero celebration band will close the 2018 Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag.
