Tortin od limuna(lemon tart) with whipped cream andmedenicais the new summer dessert by chef Robert Perić from the LF restaurant located in Naša kužina. For this light summer specialty, all the ingredients have been carefully planned, so that interesting tastes complement each other at any time.

Thetortinis made of butter, eggs, sugar and lemon, and themedenica, which is used in this dessert is homemade grappa with honey from the northern parts of Istria. Chef Perić explained that the came up with the interesting blend of tastes by combining the delicate lemon flavor, which together with the orange offers vivacity, while on the other hand the whipped cream flavored with honey and alcohol lowers the spirited citrus notes.

Robert Perić is one of the best Croatian chefs and is the only one with the prestigious European culinary title - maestro choccolatier. Although his real passion is chocolate, for the hot summer days he recommends this refreshing tart.
