The final wine tasting event titled Hidden Charms of the Istrian Wines was dedicated to the queen of the Croatian wines – Istrian malvasia. The competition was tough and the visitors found it really difficult to decide which wine was the best. The event featured 2015 wines made by Degrassi, Franc Arman and Kozlović wineries. In a close contest, the win was claimed by Kozlović’s Po mojem aged malvasia, thus closing the final wine tasting event. The ATP Wine of the Year will be announced on Sunday at the Taste Istria Zone. The contenders for the title, apart from Kozlović’s aged malvasia, include fresh malvasia by Tomaz, Kappi’s aged teran, merlot by Kabola, Novacco’s sauvignon blanc and Veralda’s sparkling wine.
