The Kids Week in Umag on the hard courts next to the grandstand brings again many young tennis players together who want to try and play against the best players of the tournament.
Their first opponent was the Russian Mikhail Youzhny, the 90th player of the ATP rankings, who taught them some of the secrets of top tennis, showing them his famous backhand, one of the best on the ATP tour.
After that a cone shooting contest followed, where valuable prizes were distributed and the young players have been trained by Blaž Kavčić from Slovenia, 132nd ranked player in the world. Blaž played always one game against two young players who offered him strong resistance.
