This year the ATP made a considerable contribution to the promotion of Umag, Istria and Croatia around the world. Official numbers show that viewers in as many as 170 countries on five different continents were able to watch as many as 500 hours of TV broadcasts from the 24th Vegeta Croatia Open.

That is a substantial increase as compared to last year when the Umag matches were shown in 139 countries, including Germany, Austria, Italy , Russia, Poland, Spain, France, Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Scandinavian countries and the United States as well as the neighboring countries Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia.
As many as 26 TV networks brought Umag matches to a potential audience of as many as 157.5 million homes.
