This year, tennis legend Mansour Bahrami was a special guest of the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, where he entertained the fans by playing an exhibition match with Goran Ivanišević. The two friends made the visitors laugh and showed off tennis skills that made them some of the most popular tennis players in the world. However, Bahrami did not come to Umag alone. TV cameras followed him here, all the way from Wimbledon, as an HBO crew was making an episode of the documentary show titled Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel – this particular episode was about Bahrami, a Frenchman of Iranian origin. The show has been airing since 1995, and has won multiple awards, including as many as 32 Sports Emmy Awards. They have featured profiles of sporting legends such as Dennis Rodman and Shaquille O'Neal, but also discussed many off-field sports controversies. The show is in its 24th season and the episode featuring Bahrami’s life will be aired on August 21. Footage from the Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag and Saturday’s exhibition match will be seen by more than 35 million viewers around the world.
