First out of two castings for the selection of hostesses for 26th Konzum Croatia Opena Umag was held in cafe Johann Franck at Trg ban Jelačić in Zagreb.
A difficult task of selecting the trademarks of Umag tournament
was given to the professional jury, which members are Ivan
Vukušić, a popular radio and TV host, Tihana
Harapin Zalepugin, the most famous Crotian fashion agent,
Elio Bašan, international dancing judge and
a member of jury of the famous TV show ''Dancing with the
stars", the new miss Croatia Maja Spahija
and professional dancer Ištvan Varga,while the
evnt was moderated by Antonija Mandić.
The second casting will take place in Umag, and from the whole
region a total of 140 hostesses have enrolled for Konzum Croatia
Open Umag.
The interest is very huge this year and until now more over 500 applications were received for the position of ATP hostess. Same as previous years, the most applicants were from Slavonia, Zagreb and Istria and the trial is open until 22nd June 2015.
Much like the previous years, the interest of the girls for the position of ATP hostess was huge with the fierce competition, proof of which being the fact that for the last 10 years more than one thousand girls have worked as ATP hostesses. They are an irreplacabe part of the organization team which consists of 500 people and they have very responsible functions within ten different services - tournament organization, activities at the ATP stadium or as part of the service in additional tournament events outside the stadium.
26th edition of Konzum Croatia Open Umag tournament is held from 17th until 26th July 2015, and during that period Umag will once again become the centre of one of the most significant social events in Croatia and unavoidable centre of tennis, beauty, party, gathering and experience of tastes and flavours of Istria.
