Alcaraz easily defeated the Slovak tennis player Andrej Martin 6:3, 6:1 and once again showed all the splendor of his talent and rich arsenal. The Umag audience recognized Alcaraz's courage and the young tennis player practically had the home court advantage at the Goran Ivanišević ATP Stadium.

Defending champion Dušan Lajović also reached the quarterfinals, defeating Spanish tennis player Bernabe Zapata Miralles 7:5, 6:4 in a difficult match and took a big step towards defending the title. Third seed, Serbian tennis player Filip Krajinović, who defeated Moldovan Rada Albot 6:4, 6:2, and German Daniel Altmaier, who defeated Italian tennis player Gianluca Mager 4:6, 6:1, 7:5, also passed to quarterfinals.

Croatian duo Matej and Ivan Sabanov defeated the double consisting of Bosnian tennis player Damir Džumhur and Croatian Antonio Šančić with the result 7:5, 6:0. Saban brothers sensationally won the first ATP title of their career in Belgrade in April, and their game in Umag shows that they are serious candidates for the title. The second Croatian pair in the quarterfinals, Admir Kalender and Mili Poljičak, ended their performance with a defeat by Fernando Romboli and David Hernandez 3:6, 7:5, 16:14.

Džumhur and Šančić are a good duo, but we are more coordinated and that made a difference. We hope that Belgrade will be repeated and that we will reach the new ATP title, and we will give everything to make it happen. One of our goals for this year is to get as close as possible to the top 100, we are really happy with this year and we are moving towards the goal, and it may even be possible to enter the top 100. It is very pleasant to play in Umag, the conditions and weather are great. We feel great here, I think we use the home court advantage well, said Ivan Sabanov after the match.

Matej and Ivan will play in the semifinals with BiH tennis player Tomislav Brkić and Serbian Nikola Ćaćić, who were today better than the Czech double Jebavy/Vesely 6:2, 6:2. Moldovan-Spanish double Radu Albot and Pedro Martinez, who knocked out the Italians Marco Cecchinato and Stefano Travagliu 6:4, 6:1, also passed to semifinals.

As the last matches ended, so began the performance of Nena Belan & Fiumens in the Open Air Music program, which ends every evening at 2 o'clock after midnight.
