Umag's exhibition matches have become an integral part of the tournament, and tennis legends, who participate in these matches year after year, win the spectators over with grandmasterly moves and top-quality entertainment - from the exhibition match featuring Goran Ivanišević and tennis legends Thomas Muster, Henri Leconte and Mansour Bahrami, which opened the 25th edition of the tournament, to the 2015 match between the King of Umag Carlos Moya and Magnus Norman. We can still recall last year's tournament, whose opening was all about Andre Agassi's arrival in Umag.

The organizers are preparing a number of surprises for this year's edition of the tournament as well. For instance, Umag tournament's great friend and 2001 Wimbledon champion, Goran Ivanišević, will play against Pat Cash and Richard Krajicek. The charismatic Australian Pat Cash is the 1987 Wimbledon champion and many remember him not only for that particular final but also his legendary black and white checked headband. He has continued his professional career in the world of tennis and is today one of the best known and most prominent commentators. At the same time, the legendary Dutchman Richard Krajicek won Wimbledon in 1996, thus ending Sampras' reign at the All-England Club. He is also one of the best servers of all times and many remember him for his memorable matches against Goran Ivanišević, particularly the 1998 Wimbledon semifinals, which Goran won by beating Krajicek 15-13 in the fifth set.
