After yesterday's victory against Daniel Brands from Germany,
Marin Čilić played against roughly fifty kids who
gathered at Kids Week. His fifth performance in Umag started off
really well, and Marin hopes that he'll go all the way this
time.
"I remember when the speaker announced my name for the first
time in Umag, I instantly became very nervous. I was impressed with
everything that I saw and that's when I felt the same passion that
I've always felt in Umag", said Čilić as he remembered his
past performances. Among others, the young tennis players learned
that Marin's second favorite sport is football, as well as that his
tennis idol is Goran Ivaniševič and he practices roughly 5 to 6
hours a day.
