The 24th edition of the Vegeta Croatia Open
Umag tournament is behind us. Tommy Robredo beat some very
challenging competitors and rightfully won the trophy. The
tournament inspired an exceptional interest and demand was high for
tickets not only for the central court, but also for the Grand
Stand.
The tournament's 24th edition offered more than just
great tennis: the latest addition to the evening programme, the
ATP Unplugged evenings, were a very pleasant
surprise for the audience as well as the artists. Some of Croatia's
best music artists, such as Damir Urban, Elemental and
Franka Batelic, were joined by international stars such as
Gabrielle, Tony Cetinski and Thomas Gold, who
performed for the Umag audience in the ATP Dance Arena. Istria
Gourmet Festival also got its own addition in the form of the
Taste Istria Zone, where all visitors had an
opportunity to sample choice Istrian delicacies such as first-rate
wines, olive oils, truffles, prosciutto hams and cheeses.
Preparations for the 25th jubilee edition of
the tournament are already under way. It is our pleasure to invite
