The organizers of the 24th Vegeta Croatia Open
in Umag recently joined forces with the Croatian Press
Photographers Association to choose the best photos from
the tournament - for the second year now.
The total of 55 photographers from 13 different
countries were accredited to cover the 24th Vegeta Croatia
Open, while photographers from five countries, namely Croatia,
Slovenia, Italy, Netherlands and UK, participated in the
competition. In the end five authors were awarded for their highest
scored photos in two different categories. Thus, two photos by the
Slovene photographer Urban Urbanc topped the list
in the Tennis category; they were followed by the photo taken by
the Umag-based Neven Jurjak. The photo taken by
the Croatian president's official photographer Tomislav
Bušljeta got the highest scores in the Side Events

Midžor of the photo agency Pixsell ranked second and
third respectively.
