Istria Gourmet Festival 2018.
For already nine years Istria Gourmet Festival has been an inevitable part of Plava Laguna Croatia Open Umag, and besides favourite Istria Gourmet Restaurant and Naša Kužina, this year RougeMarin and Michelin point will also present themselves.
Forth year in a row, in a special milieu of Istria Gourmet Festival, Restaurant Zigante will present its specialties as it is one of the Croatian restaurants recommended in Michelin Istria Guide 2018.
Naša Kužina with chef Zdravko Tomšić will present to the guests the authentic Istrian cuisine, from fresh fish and the best olive oils, to the gourmet Istrian beef and the amazing Istrian cheese.
Istrian wines and delicacies will be available at 30 tasting points, one of which will be Michelin point, which will present the best dishes of three restaurants recommended by Michelin: Restaurant Badi, Restaurant Pergola and Restaurant San Rocco.
Few years ago RougeMarin by Marin Medak has started a real burger-revolution throughout Croatia, so the tournament guests will find out firsthand why it has become one of the most popular restaurant in a very short time period.
With great food it is essential to have a good drop of wine, especially in Istria which is famous for high quality vineyards, confirmed by Michelin itself by recommending even 16 Istrian wines. Eleven of them the guests will have a chance to taste within the program Hidden charms of Istrian wines led by our famous sommelier Emil Perdec.
One of the novelty within Taste Istria zone will be the Taste Istria Card, for the service of contactless payment of tasting.
